Dear people of Tumblr:
This is a letter to my followers, and beyond, to help a friend of mine. My friend, Aura, has had Sarcoma (a type of cancer) for over a year now. Her cancer has caused her to lose her legs and is widespread more than she or her doctors ever expected. It is causing her extreme difficulty, especially in her limited mobility. She uses a wheelchair to get around now, and has been put under chemotherapy.
This is where I want your help, tumblr. She’s been severely depressed for most of this time. She is made fun of regularly for her appearance, harassment usually coming from her boss or the students she teaches. She is an artist and a friendly person to talk to.
If everyone who reads this could please take the time to send her a message off of anonymous, something positive to help her get through this, I would appreciate it greatly. She’s an amazing person. All it takes is one nice thing from someone that isn’t anonymous. So she can see that there are really people out there who love her and care about her and want her to get better.
Click on the link below and send her your message. One nice thing from someone could make her come out of depression to have the will to live her life. I know she can do it, she just needs to feel like there are people who need her.
